Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal
The Muslim emperor Shah Jahan first to marry other women before he becomes dream: to marry the beautiful 15-year-old woman he has conquered in a bazaar in the Indian city, Agra-remember that the law through the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries returns to the house with more than one woman. Later, and once he obtained permission from the astrologers, the emperor joined with Mumtaz Mahal, a name he granted and means "the name or pearl of the palace".
She had 13 children with her and sadly on one of her journeys, while giving birth to her 14th firstborn, Mumtaz Mahal passed away, but before he asked her king to keep the following promises: to build his grave, to marry again, to be an excellent father, and to visit his grave every year. Of course, the emperor was shattered, his romance with Mumtaz was greater than all his wealth, so throughout his life he devoted himself to building one of the most beautiful buildings in the world: the Taj Mahal. Such a feat left him in bankruptcy and his last years of existence were locked up as he looked in the distance at the majestic tomb of his beloved.
