The story of Elsa and Isaac began when a young woman from a good family fell in love with a carpenter. His thing was love at first sight, but he didn't like everyone. Elsa's brother opposed them being together.
On her wedding day, the young woman's brother devised an evil plan to prevent her aided by Elsa's maid, Antolina. In the church there was a shooting in which Isaac was wounded and they simulated the death of the girl, who was actually kidnapped by Jesus.

Antolina, who had always been secretly in love with Isaac, seized the moment to seduce him. But when she found out Elsa was alive, everything changed. However, Antolina could not bear the thought of losing him. The young woman started a web of lies there and even tried to take away the life she was her friend to one day.

Antolina also faked an Isaac pregnancy, who had to marry her to take responsibility. But the boy was still in love with Elsa, who tried unsuccessfully to stop the wedding by proving that Antolina helped her brother plan the shooting of her liaison.

With Isaac as a married man, Elsa tried to remake his life with Alvaro, a doctor who turned out to be a con man and took all his money. Although she left Elsa on her wedding day, she then made her one of the best gifts of her life. He revealed to Isaac that everything about Antolina's pregnancy was false.

Antolina was never pregnant with Isaac, but a man from a nearby village. In addition, she was the one who caused the abortion after learning that her son could be born with a terrible illness.

That was the beginning of the end for Antolina. Her evil plan collapsed and she went so crazy that she even wanted to kill Isaac. But she was finally the one who died falling down a ravine. Elsa and Isaac already had a free way to live their love.
